Tito Ortiz and Ricco Rodriguez, along with a variety of other professional MMA fighters are coming to San Jose, Costa Rica to train some select clientele. They have been hired to spend a week training a team of security guards and two sportsbook owners in late June.

Once they are done the week of training they will stay one additional week to hold another exclusive training camp. The camp is $1,000 a day and includes morning conditioning, classes, sparring, and plenty of scenario role playing. This is not for the weak, these are serious players in the world of Mixed Martial Arts who can teach you or your closest security guard something that may save your life!

I'm sure they end the night with a party bus to and from the Rey. Just a thought.

BigBoxing, good idea, hope it works out well for you..I would do it but the price is a little high for me.

Good luck, it does sound fun.

P.S. Does that price include a girl from the DR, lol?

Not sure if it is BS. I think BigBOxingBoss is legit if its who I think it is. Ricco was here 1x before and tito has been doing some clubbing in Canada so its very possible.

Its 'trendy' to learn MMA for most of these clowns these days. And most 'trendy' guys will pay anything to be 'trendy' or tough.

For those who know my work, this is another one of my real deals. I sponsored Ricco for UFC 38 when he beat Randy Couture for the Heavyweight Title. We caught a flight the next morning for San Jose and the rest is history. After his 10 day trip, he swore he would move to Costa Rica when he retires. Since then, every UFC event I attended or training camp I visited, one of the fighters will ask me when they can come down to CR and indulge themselves. So I approached a few sportsbook owners about having the guys train their guards, and the trip is now a reality.

I sent the guys to this site to see your responses. They loved it! So in reponse, they are willing to hold 2 days of classes at $250 a day. That will include 6 hours of training and instruction, split into two three hour sessions.

Who knows, maybe you can pay for the classes by getting their profesional opinions on the next UFC card. Ha ha ha.

PS. I owe Oddessa the next Sushi lunch. He's the man.

Any of you "old schoolers" remember when Chuck Wepner fought Andre the Giant? Wepner was lucky he didn't get killed that night when he got thrown into the audience. Ali took on Antonio Inoki the same night as well. Ali actually got blood clots in his legs from the kicks of his Japanese opponents crab-style attacks.

All-in-all, those wrestlers were taking any shit that night and they never tried that one again.
